IKEA @ Tampines

To tell you guys honestly. Both my parents died of lung cancer and they are not smokers nor drinkers. Though there's no proof to say where they got it from, they might be victims of passive smoking. My wife also got cancer and I can assure you, she is a victim of passive smoking because her boss is a chain smoker in the office. It is now nearly 6 years after her RT. Thankfully she is on her way to recovery (hopefully no recurrance). Her boss finally quit smoking about 2 years ago.

I know it's difficult to quit smoking the "cold turkey" way but please give it a try. I quit with no side effects. I smoke a big pack of 20 sticks per day. On Saturdays, I will smoke 40 sticks. After 10 years of smoking, I remembered the day that I quit was a Saturday night in July 1981. I simply told myself that this will be the last 20 sticks pack of cigarrettes (I smoke Rothmans) and from tomorrow onwards I will not smoke again, ever. I am surprised that I have absolutely no withdrawal symptom at all. I think its more to do with "WILL POWER" than anything.

Bros, I belief you can do it. Do not give up hope. Your mind is stronger than you think. smile.gif

Sometimes I envy non-smoker sit next to me especially those sucessfully quit more than 10 years. I shall try again one day though I had failed don't know how many times.
