Definitely the customer's choice is the best route. . They cannot go complaint to LTA their route is longer and cab driver listened to her.

Few days ago, I kena dirty uncle and chow auntie who board my cab and said:

Mang ga ka ( Bendemeer Rd ). They were at French road. I replied ok, and executed a left

turn for Lavender Street - very obviously the most logical choice and shortest.

Then the la sup auntie commented : wah you turn so many rounds and big rounds like that ah!

I immediately pulled over and stopped. I asked : Hello Auntie - Lu gong simi

Gua bahru wat - lu gong simi wey. Bo ni lang lo chia - chay bat teng lah !!!

Meaning please take another taxi- if you think I m making a merry go round !

WAH YOU ALSO WRONG WHAT, HOW CAN YOU TAXI DRIVER SCOLD PASSENGER !

I said : I am not scolding you but YOU ACCUSED me of going one big round when I just make

one left turn to Lavender street. I want to bring you by the shortest and fastest way !!

Knn pui chow nua. I hate these type of heartlander 'la sup' auntie who just love to

comment and complain regardless whether got logic or not.

Both became quiet for a while. Then the man say go any way you want but go mang ga ka.

I asked if it was ok if I turn into Boon Keng road and let him alight.

He replied : Mng chai la- lu jo lu kia .Ki mang ga ka.

Wah lau a as if he stayed in the whole road of mang ga ka. - knn

In the end he asked to drop at Bendermeer Mrt station Taxi stand along Serangoon road.

That wasn't Mang ga ka - that was Serangoon road. Then the auntie wanted to proceed to

Geylang 19.

I cooled down and told the auntie ( educating her ) that her thinking that all taxi

drivers will go big rounds is already an outdated concept.That was old fashioned because

it started many years back when flag down fares started much lower like $1 or $1.2

I told her these days nobody practises these to increase revenue because it will be better

to finish the job quickly and pickup another fare especially at places like Geylang with

a lot of people. All these hassle just to make a miserable $7at her final destination.

Taxi drivers also like actors on the road.
Meet different paxs, act differently.
Act blurr.act xiao,act stupid,act innocent,act pitiful, also can act serious.
At the end of the shift,log off the MDT,go home and you'll be a happier person.

Bro bridgestone, don't like that say. It's not dog cage lah. Dog cage where got aircon? Somemore people pay you for it. But have to work a bit lor.

Aiyo,why call yourself a dog. Everyday I go on a tour of this little red dot,sightseeing,lim kopi,try out nice food......once awhile, I let hitchhikers in and wow they even pay. these hitchhikers are so interesting and we have wonderful conversation along the way. Sometimes got very pretty girls sit with and chat, no need to tip them instead they tip me.

Such a fantastic job no wonder so many people wants to join.

CANT WAIT TO BEGIN MY TOUR AGAIN TOMORROW

You are a very motivated cabby, for me if pretty girl sit beside me end of the trip i will sure give discount. Some courtesy greeting that i will do when pax aboard my cab...

When you walk away from the car..you feel not only happy but you know you had a good day and you did your best ......
