RE: Any good Yong Tau Foo ???

So far none of the Ampang YTF in Singapore comes close to the original.

Or rather I have not come across one yet.

The original uses a lot of Flat Fish, a kind of salted fish, deep fried to a crisp.
This is added to the fillings, so it has a nice aroma and crunchy.
They are super generous with the filling also.

The one in Upp Thomson oso no good leh.. Didn't get my Father-In-Law nod of approval.
He is a picky eater.

Try my Godmother's shop at Mosque Street.

They have a 60 year history but not Ampang YTF

they are authentic Hakka YTF.

Mr. Bernad Chen is also a regular besides a few towkays

coming in RR or at least a Jaguar.
