Bro, I have been reading your posts and it seems you have been too dependent on GPS.
GPS is good but it also has its limits. Use it as a guide but don't follow blindly.
As you spend more time on the roads and gain more experience and knowledge,
try switching off your GPS and depend on your knowledge.
Slowly but surely, you will gain more confidence.
Cheers.

p.s. The brand of my GPS is 'BRAIN'.

I also hope my brain can be the GPS, its almost one month since i started, right now, i try not to depend on GPS, but for roads totally stranger to me, i have no choice, for roads i know, i will use GPS and see how it goes, but i usually do it my way when it is not a logical way....and yeah sometimes i dont use it at all, but only limited to some areas, i felt i am getting better, but still have ample room for improvement.....Street Directory is now my story book, i read it frequently.

If you are brave enough to switch off the GPS then you are on the highway to succeed.

Switch it off, use it only for booking because you have no time to think, infront? behind? u-turn? left or right??? 5..4..3..2..1..0..-1..-5. time passed booking canceled.

LTA road signage is first class in the world except those covered by trees. Learn to read road sign especially those marked on the road surface, e.g. PIE eastbound exit Thomson/Toa Payoh is confusing but marking on road clearly guides you.
