Maid saves toddler from more hurt

HIT by a car, she was thrown 3m by the impact and landed hard on the road.

She had clung on to the toddler for dear life and refused to let go until she herself blacked out.

Children hurt after minibus crashes and flips

The eight students were on their way to the Madrasah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiah, which is along Braddell Road.

The next thing they knew, the white minibus had collided into the railing by the side of Bedok Reservoir Road.

His family doesn't know he's dead

Mr Ibrahim Haladar, 21, a Bangladeshi national working Singapore, was killed in a collision between a lorry and a van along Woodlands Avenue 12 on Sunday night.

The driver and five other passengers were hurt.

Singaporeans' close shave with death on North-South Highway

The Singaporean man was driving on the North-South Highway early yesterday morning when a lorry travelling in the lane next to his hit a divider, before toppling and ending up in the middle of the expressway.

Singapore's #1 accident highway

IT’S the expressway that takes the top spot for having the most number of accidents.

And on Friday night, two accidents happened near the Jalan Eunos exit within an hour, causing a traffic snarl that tailed back to Sims Avenue.

Car flips over 3 times

I know all these are old incidents, however, I think their count has increased only rather than reducing. My cousin works for a Los Angeles DUI lawyer and he often tells me that DUI, distracted driving cases are on rise despite of all efforts and stringent laws.
