1 further piece of advice. By default, the app does not auto play voice messages. Enable it in app's settings.

Hi all,

I would like to point out some information, Rules & requirements about joining the Palringo Group.

1. You MUST be already a taxi driver on the road, regardless you are a hirer, relief or super relief

2. In the Palringo, Set you nickname, with your taxi number behind. for eg, (mine) Rom 7976 / Rom *7976* / Rom *SHB7976*
You can change the style you want, but preferred with shorter nickname, as the viewing space is limited.

a. Nickname is for members to address you & know who you are
b. Vehicle number is for people to page out job for help, & vehicle number are needed to verify & confirm the job to you. (You will learn more after you are in the group)

3. After you have successfully joined the group, kindly give an introduction about yourself: Name, taxi company, driving shift, number of days, hirer or relief, etc. As the group is strict for taxi drivers on the road is share information,
there are Administrators monitoring the channel. New drivers will be given a week or two to pick up on how to give the correct information. Members inside are also willing to teach & guide you on how to use the application.
Please contribute information after picking up the knowledge. (It's not hard, trust mebiggrin)

4. Method of using the app is different for iphone & android phone users. Once again, you can find out more after joining. Most important is, you'll need a earpiece or bluetooth headset because you do not want to pax to listen to our conversations.

5. Get a cigarette port charger for you mobile, as the app will drain your battery very fast. You can buy a after market USB charger & use your own cable. the charger cost less than $10. (I bought a double USB port + 2 x retractable USB cables)

6. Last but not least, do not give out the password to any one else. Please seek permission from the seniors here or any Administrator in the group.

Thank you for the patience for going through the above long-winded messages.

thank you ROM.

to add on, try to make your mssg short and sharp. straight to the point.
if is not urgent matter, i usually used text mssg instead of voice mssg.
DO NOT interrupt when there is calls for SOS, Route Guide and Job Paging (dispatching Calls)

Thank you.

Thanks Rom and TU for the pointers.

The most vital obligation of members is to share RELEVANT info. Its a self sustaining channel offering
mutual help to fellow cabbies. Without info sharing, the channel must die a natural death. The administrators
are strict with that. That having said, irrelevant talk and personal chit chat is discouraged.

In the words of member Mat Cabby: "You will never drive alone". Cheers!

Yes, even PT, all drivers are required to pay deposit but can be paid in installment.
Subsidized diesel kiosk is opened to their respective taxi fleets only.
