OMO with your own taxi is means you have a fix overhead everyday.
it would not be easy for you to meet the overhead in the long run.
stress you out mentally and physically.

if your biz can make money, just focus on your biz.
if your new biz doesn't make money, don't start. :)

I had drove for all taxis company (except for SMART and Prime).

Below is my little opinion for your own reference.

SMRT Taxis - Best counter service among all taxis company. Big problem in their management level, promises a lot but deliver little.

Comfort Delgro - Many diesel kiosks over the island and many calls. Problems are management level too arrogant and always side with passenager whenever a complaint arises. CDGE mentality is customer is not always right BUT DRIVER IS ALWAYS WRONG.

Transcab - Office very disorganise and chaotic. Management do not care much about petty complaint and there is a lack of discipline.

Premier - Friendly and honest management wanting to do business with you. With their new office at Changi South Ave 2, there is a great propects for the company to grow bigger. Management put driver in top priority and don't entertain petty complaint.

Yellow-Top - Best option if you want to be your own boss because you are not bounded by any taxis company regulation. Problem is there are not many on the road and LTA is not going to issue new licence to new hirer, so you can only be a relief.

If LTA is not going to change the idea of aborting the yellow top cab system, maybe we should change a new LTA minister. :)

Accident excess is about the same for all taxis company. It is to penalize driver for getting into accident. As a driver, we should focus on their benefit becos we drive to make a living, so we should choose a taxis company that give us the best benefits.

When market is bad, drivers return key then CDG is ok at least not too bad.
When market is good all cars taken then arrogant back again to the management team.
Driving CDG taxi is stressful, complaints may come in anytime and you will feel panic.
CDG cashless is excellent, you will never lost a cent! Prompt and accurate payment.
CDG technical service is fast and consider the best among all.

Thank God now got mobile apps, the giant needs to humble himself otherwise market shares will keep on dropping.

Why so many unhappy drivers still drive CDG? Many many reasonable reasons and are justified for daily unhappiness.
