Yup! I have read the forum. I can see that indeed a lovely and caring bunch of Taxi Uncle.

Hope to meet up with you guys and share with me more of your experiences.

I shall get my Taxi tomorrow at Comfort. Friendly speaking, I don't what to do after that. Maybe you can give me some advices of your first day experience too.

1st day...go buy flowers & with water splash over your cab...pray abit for safety & good luck...remember safety shd be your top priority & not making monies...and as taxiuncle mentioned buy 4D...huattt horbiggrin.gif

do u mean u r going OMO?
if so, u muz have strong self-discipline on ur time management.
decide on ur working hrs n stick to it.
if it's time to go home, just go home.
ignore all who try 2 hail ur cab except the 1 that's going ur way.
most important factor is 2 have enough rest.
there's always a tomorrow.

Fully agree with bro moshi2. Stick to your routine and timetable for proper rest. When I was driving previously, I mostly chiong during peak hours. My timetable as follow but not necessary to follow.

Weekdays (Mondays to Fridays):

Mornings: Start 6.55am waiting for call booking (My area Bt Batok very hot in morning). Once get, start chiong until 9.15am by then slowly die down. Then go to Harbourfront queue or if in town go to hotels. Will drive until about 1.30 to 2pm then go home bathe, rest or catch some sleep.

Afternoon: Have early dinner. Start 4.30pm and prepare for peak hours pick-ups. Will chiong until about 11pm then call it a night except Fridays where I will chiong until maybe 1am.

Weekends (Sat):

Mornings: Start a bit later at 8.00am due to Friday night late finish. No peak hour so less incentive to wake up early. Drive until about 1.30pm then repeat the above.

Afternoon: Repeat as above. Start 4.30pm and chiong peak hours again until 1 to 2am.

Weekends (Sun):

Mornings: As above but whole day no peak hours incentive.

Afternoons: Repeat as above but will call it a night earlier at about 10pm to prepare for Monday mornings.

The above is just what I do. Important is to go toilet first before settig out.smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif
