I believe this angmoh had done the same act before. I saw same thing happened few months ago along Church St,beside the Samsung Hub,although not 100% sure same angmoh.

cry cry Sad... so many taxi drivers on the road are behaving like sitting ducks subjected to complaints,bullies,be taken advantageof,by people on the road.

The driver should first come out ask him(no, yell,shout ) to move, if don't move,take his picture &the scenewith handphone.Then, call the police......then..

Well........maybe for me,I may just inch mycab towards him...cos I don't care a damn....I HATE ARROGANT ANGMOH bullying local people.

we must not let the FTs here feel that s'pore cabbies can be bullied...they may have done it in neighbouring countries...here we're no pushover

the other day one angmoh in my cab talking over thephone with his friend...every sentence ended with fack fack...damnso sway i thought...i stopped my cab at the roadside...i said to him either you stop swearing in my cab or i drop you here...luckily he apologised...darn cry

This is the BEST example on why we should install a video cam in our cab.
Taxiuncle, $650 worth it right?
Can ask for compensation and charge him for creating public nuisance plus creating a dangerous traffic situation.

Look at the color of the LCD display on the roof-top, it's GREEN !!
If it's really ON CALL, then it should be in RED !!!
But still, that doesn't give the Farking Terror any right to do what he did.

even if he is oncall but after the pax waited 15 mins he or she would have cancelled the call..
WTF the other taxi took this CB?? loose sands gets sweep left right center.. furthermore in CBD no stoping unless taxi stand...

One day, I also kena one ang mo trying to hijack my taxi along Church St at the traffic light junction infront of Capital SQ. At the traffic light junction, I stopped my taxi on the second lane when the light is red. All of a sudden, one bastard ang mo hopped into my taxi, I told him that I am on call and I cannot take him. You know what that bastard reply to me? He said that he is the one who called my taxi. I know that he is trying to cheat and I F*** him off and he LL get down my taxi.

I believe there are many such cases everydays and many are unreported.

It all happened just before midnight,so taxi can stop anywhere in CBD ( rule applys till 10 pm only ).

I still think this citycab driver reacted poorly to the situation. Either he was timid or an inexperienced new driver.Guess i can't blame him.
Obviously it was GREEN on his display.In the beginning, should have come out to ask
what the angmoh want.If he wanted a ride (I guess this was what his intention of stopping and standing in front of the cab),then pick him up and go.Why sat there and stared at him???
IT was almost midnight, so it was the best time to pick up a fare - $3.00(start) + $3.00(CBD),then after a few minutes running fare + 50%. It is better than to wait for a $2.50 call at this time.

I guess being a cabbie isn't easy in Singapore.It does take at least a few years to learn how
to handle tricky situations other than just picking up a fare and learn the routes.

Well, one way for drivers to learn & upgrade themselves is to come often to this websites (WWW.TAXIUNCLE.COM), share,exchange & learn knowledges from fellow taxi brothers.

20minutes is a long time in such a situation. wandering why the driver is doing nothing at all ( at least it appears so ). Can either pick him and drive direct the police station and play with him.

Also wandering why another cab would have pick him up if he saw such a situation.

If such kind of things happen in Taipei, you can image this angn mo will be surround by 20 yellow cabs for sure.
