New Taxi-stand at Jurong Point

Broz,
Did anyone notice the new taxi-stand at Jurong Point?
Look at the new signage, knnabei, it says 1 taxi only !!!furious
Besides Jurong Point, that area oso has got a bus interchange and mrt station.
Wtf are the LTA ppl thinking.........
If they do not have brains, knncb, use their lampar to think lah......boo.gif
With a shopping centre, mrt station and bus interchange,
definitely there will always be a crowd there..........
To allow 1 taxi there at a time, i think is to give them a legitimate reason
to issue more summons to taxis lor......

It's obvious that the LTA are looking for funds to fund their donation box.

I have emailed and went personally to LTA counter and till today, they have not given me a damn reply.

I queried the officer, why Primetaxi Toyota Camry flagdown rate is $3.20 while Smartcab Toyota Camry is $3.00? Both taxis are camry running on CNG so why were there double standard?

According to primetaxi, their camry is a premium limousine taxi hence the flagdown rate of $3.20 and my dumb company Smartcab said according to LTA, camry cannot be a limo taxi.

Now my question to the LTA is why are your policies always have a double standard? Are you just getting more funds for the highest paid department in the ministry?

the Lauya Tpt Authority main objectives so clear as a pic....for having 1 taxi at TS (same as in Bencoolen St...new TS some more)...objectives:-

(a) they want commuters to take public tpt instead of taxis...
(b) they want taxis go to town instead of outside cbd

Bro CamryLimo, i think it's your coy that smoke you.
Azera can be limo, why can't a camry?
Prime camry, estima are all limo.
Perhaps you can suggest your coy to change the status of your camry to limo.

Bro fair fare those stands mostly located at CBD area are taxi stop and not taxi stand . So you cannot wait for passengers .
