A 60-YEAR-OLD woman was so enraged by a taxi driver showing her an obscene sign, she planted herself in front of his taxi.

Madam Lee Geok Hiok, a cleaner, was parking her car along the road behind People's Park Centre at 11.30pm on Tuesday when the taxi driver sounded his horn.

She said: 'I gestured to him to wait and he made this rude sign with his finger.'

She marched to his stationary taxi, opened the driver's door and asked him why he showed her the bad sign.

'He tried to deny doing so but then apologised,' she said.

She called the police and held onto the door to prevent him from driving off.

When he moved his taxi forward, she fell onto the road, bruising her right knee.

When the taxi was about to exit from Havelock Square, the feisty woman stood in its way in front of the Family and Juvenile Court.

The taxi then reversed and sped pass her. Police arrived soon and interviewed her and several witnesses.

In April last year, financial adviser Alex Lim, 30, died after he stood in front of the taxi driven by 68-year-old Lee Yuet Kong along Scotts Road.

Mr Lim wanted to get Lee's particulars after a minor collision but Lee drove away, throwing him onto the bonnet.

When the cab braked abruptly, Mr Lim fell backwards and hit his head on the road. He died a month later in hospital.

Lee was jailed for a year and banned from driving for life for reckless driving.

we also needs to avoid these type of ppl... if we want to show finger.. must make sure we can move off.. hahhaa if not kena stranded or if we r ready to get into a nasty fight with someone then by all means finger, fist, stone or our spare tyre also can use

if i were that cabby...i wld call police also...charge her for dangerous behaviour by standing infront of taxi & obstructing a cab

rude finger pointing?...at most a stern warning from police...it's not an offence...her word against cabby

but to move cab with intention to hurt then driver must answer for it...lose-lose situationhmm

when will it take for the next same scenerio?...we cabbies shd not take this type of things lying so low...we have face too lolweirdface

Ang Mo FT punch cabby oni got off with a $1000/- fine.
Cabby use finger sign, the most $10/- fine. smile
But end of the day the judge will decide, if u stay in HDB
most likely u will get a jail term.....biggrin

My balls getting smaller since i drove a cab.
Why??
Gotta squeeze them at least twice a day on the road while cursing inside me.

hahahahaha no wonder your nuts are turning blue ....

I know what you mean ...i learnt to be a more tolerant driver than when i was a pte driver..

People out there always think that when you drive a blue color cab you are an *******...no all drivers are alike....

I wonder have they ever think otherwise about themselves....

Just like when I was at the junction of lavender street- 2 nights ago...stop light turning right into kallang bahru at themiddle turninglane...

KNN this mama..keep horning at me bcos I was obstructing his way...

F....do you know you roads i thought to myself ?

I have the right of the way too ..to turn right...

If you dont have the kung hu to turn left out...go n F some other driver ...mama..hehehehhee

This is a classic case of cabby bias...we all look bad in their eyes...

Reminds me of an incident with a fat woman too. Iwas driving along Bt Batok East Ave 6 and was about to turn left to Jurong East Central when this lorry with canopy driven by this fat woman cut into my lane without signalling and nearly crash into my car. I sounded my horn angrily at her and caught up with her. You know what, she showed me her middle finger man. Wah! That really blew me up and I also showed her my 2 big middle fingers. From then on, she tail-gatedme dangerously. I intentionally drove to the Jurong East Police Post and park my vehicle at the parking lot. I got down from my car and asked her to step out and go the the police with me. It was then that I discovered she really had no balls, ha ha ha.biggrinbiggrinbiggrinSo next time if we encounter such incidents, simply drive to the nearest police station and dare that bugger to step out of the vehicle.biggrin

Bro Drive, I don't understand what you mean "Would she have made you happy (gay).." biggrinbiggrinbiggrinPlease elaborate.

This shows only one thing. People who are aggressive and bully other road users with their bigger vehicle can turn out to be a chickenwhen we reached for the law. I was hoping she show her balls by following me to the police post which unfortunately she didn't. Don't have any to show. Anger management is necessary on the roads especially with bigger vehicles and the rich if you don't want trouble. Bigger vehicles has the safety in that they are big and the rich has the money to fight the law if you don't have enough evidence.


Looking at the picture of how the fat woman stand in front of the taxi and behave would have already turned people off. She deserved it when she fell and bruised her right knee and she is the actual bully now from observation.furious
