I tell my passengers to wear seat belt but they still dun wear. How ? Told them abt the fine but they say they will pay and tell me to mind my own business and concentrate driving. Si beh kankor siak!

Bro akuma,

If I am not wrong, the driver will be fine and deduct demerit points if passengers are caught without seat belt on. I wonder why drivers must always pay the price for passengers fault. No seat belt we get fine. Alight and pick up pax not at taxi stand we get fine too. But what can we do if they refused to wear. Chase them out ?

I don advise them and i nvr will.
If got caught, i say i tell them liao but they don listen.
Fine me i appeal lor...
But if really have to, i'll not move and leave the meter running on the spot till the pax put on seat belt.

Depends on my mood...

If my paxs not wearing seatbelt, I jam the brake hard and they slam onto the front seat.

"what happen?!!!!" they asked.

"Just now got TP and you are not wearing seatbelt." I answered.

for me i usually say..."put seat belt for your safety"...but hor for those nvr put on sometimes they see the way i drive they auto quickput seat belts kakakabiggrinbiggrin

So far I have never encounter pax putting on seat belt. Maybe because the seat belt alarm sound is kind of loud...

u mean bro yr taxi us equipped with sound and if the rear passengers dun wear seat belts the taxi cannot moved . wah amazing taxi u got there bro.

As long as the taxi driver had advised the pax to put on sealt-belt,
he will not be fined if pax still insisted on not belting-up.

This is how I operate: upon pax boarding my cab, just tell them to pls put on seat-belt.
After that, dun even bother abt them.

I never advise a pax to fasten belt becos pax already fasten belt once while boarding on my cab except student & maid. maid don't know how to fasten belt. she pulling the belt & don't know where to plug in. sianz.. i keep helping a maid to fasten belt. after dest. point, she also don't know how to unplug & she pulling hard the belt. i saidno no. pls don't pull. just press the button to release the belt & she laughing like that.. cannot tahan.

There was an occasion I sent a lady from Beach Road to Upper Serangoon about midnight hour.She smelt of alcohol and I told her to belt up but she ignored. So I can't be bothered to remind her again.Then was driving along the Serangoon Flyover and there was POLICE STOP. Police shine torch light at lady behind and use sign language at me with 2 fingers pointing to my eyes and then the belt for the passenger. He then asked the lady to belt up and asked why I didn't tell her. Told officer I had informed but she didn't bother. Hee hee. From then, she didn't look at all happy. But who cares since I have done my part but was ignored.biggrin

How I wish the back seat is also equip with it biggrin

I don't tell front pax to buckle up... he will auto himself as I dun think any normal human being can stand the buzzing sound ringing throughout the journey.

So far most of my pax also thinks that the buzzing sound also coneected to the back... hehe... actually not biggrin

About seat belts !! What if the pax ask you to help them wear their seat belts..esp. young buxom nubile sweet and sxy thing ???
