Points To Note To Safe Guard Your Hard Earned Money.

LTA has contracted six traffic wardens from a private company at $34,000
a year to take down the licence plate number, make and colour of
vehicles that intrude into bus lanes at peak hours.
(They are incognito with camera in hands......so don't expect to see a
TP, etc)

Note you can get fined $130 for dropping someone off at or near the bus
stop.

LTA has intensified their operations at the following areas:

> 1) Eunos Link
> 2) Hougang Ave 3
> 3) Jurong Town Hall Rd
> 4) Lorong Chuan
> 5) Orchard Rd
> 6) Upper Serangoon Rd
> 7) Upper Thomson Rd
> Yishun Ave 2

Additional spots where speed traps were seen,

1) PIE towards airport near Toa Payoh exit, tripod mounted speed camera
at the pedestrain overhead bridge. 90km/h

2) PIE towards jurong near adam road exit, tripod mounted speed camera
over at Adam Road flyover. 90km/h

3) Braddell Road after Bishan Junction towards CTE, tripod mounted speed
camera at the pedestrain overhead bridge. 60/kmh

4) Queensway towards Bukit Merah, tripod mounted speed camera under tree
before Ridout McDonalds. 60km/h

5) Spot along Upper Bukit Timah Rd towards Woodlands Rd, tripod mounted
speed camera under tree after a curve turn - 60km/h.

Fine imposed is $170 and 8 demerit points.

Hi taxiuncle ,

For you info on speed camera zone, point 1 and 2 i think the speed limit for that stretch should me 80km/h.

Bro bluenuts,

Every night before 8pm I can always see many car using lorong chuan bus lane to cross over. If you are coming from braddell and need to cross over , please use CTE and by AMK ave 1 after all the pax will pay. Not worth to risk going by bus lane as it just need a officer to take a chair to sit under the bridge.

Bro Bryan, i mention Lor. Chuan b'cos New Tech Park is there and they don have driveway or t/s for taxi to que. There are many ppl working in thr and also many taxi queing along the road side of Lor. Chuan.
Any traffic rules clamp down hard, cabbies always kena hardest. PUI!!!

Bro Bluenuts,

I thought they are just catching people using the bus lane. The officer also catch people parking illegally on double yellow line meh ? They always like to make cabbies life harder. They should go catch those parents parking their cars outside school waiting for their child and jam up the road. The authority should ban parents sending their kid to school and make it compulsary to take school bus. But again the belongs to the rich category so no action will be done.

I also kena at Outram mrt station, 2 monkeys on a Scooter taking photos not ONLY at the Last Taxi but all taxis after the stipulated nos. of taxis allowed.

Cheap shots. Scrrrrr............ Pui!!!!!!!

Their farking balls are unbalanced, not only they don't catch those illegal parking o/s school, they don't even bother esp if it is a friday.

Sorry, if i am going to offend anyone but that's the fact.

I think i kena too...tues morn i entered bayshore rd...there're 5 lots for taixs...all occupied...i made a turn to queue & saw the darn TP hiding nr Bayshore Park...i hoping the 1st cab wld move so i queue behind...knn then saw the TP write something down maybe my cab number...PUI!!!...then i saw trans cab turn in nr Costa d sol & pick up a lady...that's a real offence for not queuing not me so deligently queue behind the lots knn...now wait for love letter to comefurious.gif
