Need to ask the gurus here...

now got no more yellow top licence to be issued to new drivers issit? then those on the street is still owned by cabby? can i say buy over the licence from existing yellow top crown and then upgrade to new yellow top taxi? how much does a new yellow top taxi cost e.g. toyota fielder. Thanks for any info.

I think no more allowed to transfer. Last time can transfer to children when they retire. Now if cabby retire, cab also retire. smile.gif

I think if the driver retire, the cab can be rented out and if the driver expires, the cab also expires.biggrin.gif

if one take the cab from the lady...if accident how?...lady chabok sure one...you not registered from coy so insurance dun pay...then sell backside right?cry.gif

no bro . If you want to join them , u have to pay a deposit of $80 for an insurance. No need to pay the $1000 deposit like other operators. Well normally these taxis belong to kiosk owners who have a private arrangement with other operators . I know of operators who do with yellow top, smart taxis and silver taxis. But you must first have the valid taxi license .
