Pick up a drunkard pax in jurong .

pax: to serangoon north ave 4
me: not sure how to go,u know the way? ( smelling trouble trying to give excuse)
pax: u drive i show u the way....but i have only 5 dollars n some coins, u can have my ic
i pay u tommorrow.


What would u do?
1. ask him to get out n prepare for the worst
2. send him there n be a good samaritan

Hi Bro, consider suay lor

the distant travel is at least 30km
cost of diesel is ard $4.12 (30 x 0.14)

cab fare around $22 bah

just fetch lah,
i dun wan shin min news to appear cabby bash by drunkard doh.gif

taking ic is not good enough, you need hp no. to chase for payment bleh.gif

the above calculation is base on normal hours

time : 19.00 hrs

Just pick him but send him to jurong police station and let the police handle him . Wake him up only when the police is beside your cab. Free trip to police station for him .

I will just sent him to nearest police station. I did that before, pick up a drunk from hyatt saying he want to go bedok south, than fall asleep whole jorney till reach bedok cannot wake him. Just drove to bedok police station and get the police to wake him, and the police also demanded the meter fare from him on my behalf. After I got my fare, just drove off. Not sure what happen to him...??

Picking up drinking or drunkard pax is always a lose lose situation for cabbies.
I usually switched off the cabin lights hoping they drop their $$ or handphoneidea.gifbiggrin.gif

I also pick one half drunkard middle age man at Tg Pagar Rd and send him to Jurong west st 81. When reach there, call him many time, still cannot wake up, drove further down, saw a half closed coffee shop then stop there. Open up all door, tuen on signal light, then shouted at him to wake up , still nothing happened. Call the police to come down.
The police also shouted at him repeatedly but to no avail.
AFter some 15 minutes, they managed to get him up. The police told him to pay up for the meter fare on the spot.[>$30]

cabbies that want to siam trouble will not pick drunkard.. they shd not have got or never got into my cab inthe 1st place...biggrin.gif

i never Q at those potential drunkard area, but at times u can't tell wheather they are drunk till u speak to them.

Bros, I think it's quite difficult to avoid those people. I kena once at Duxton to pick up 3 Koreans. KNNCCB. The bugger who flag my cab was sober but 3 drunkard idiots board my cab past 1am. He told me to bring them to Jurong Shipyard. The worst is none of them can speak English. And all of them are bigger size than me. One sit in front and put his F.U.C.King leg on top of the dashboard and recline the seant at 45 deg. The 2 behind just fell into the back seats. On reaching Jurong Shipbyard, meter shows $25+ (I think) but the MF sitting in front woke up only after I called him many times and say I cheated him. KNNCCB. And gave me $20 instead. LL I took the money and left and called it a night after that. I think Korean drunkards are amongst the worst as they can become very abusive.furious.giffurious.giffurious.gif
