One thing which the cabbies & the prostitues facing the same thing daily is they are meeting many customers with mostly with normal smell and sometime having horrible smell when they board your taxi. Your nature reation is hoping they can come out your taxi as soon as possible so you drive as fast as you can. This is the same reation for the prostitues which they like them to have faster come out (settle the business).
The difference : You can not force the customer out otherwise you will get complain. Unlike the prostitues, they can reject the customer if they have earned enough for the day and do not what to do that business.
Cos you may have a over sensitive nose, otherwise i will consider the reason given shallow.

the comparision between a transport worker and a sex worker sounds like an insult to me.
Will a prostitute send you to a hospital if you got a heart attack, or bleeding from a knife stab? can she drive? can you trust her with your life? can you trust her to send your daughter or son home middle of the nite?
how about comparing prostitue with hawker? used car saleman? teacher, doctor, lawyer, politician/MPs?

I did have the experience of the passenger just passing ...... without cleaning & board my taxi. And I have to go to LTA for ..... after receiving the letter from LTA.
Anyway, just laugh & do not take it seriously for this topic. I do not have any intention of offencing anyone.
My nature reaction for that time is driving as fast as I can in order to let him get his destination faster so that I could be released. Imaging the postitute get a customer who she does not like, also want him to come out faster. I am thinking of my reaction at that time is same as her.

i had fetch a injured construction worker fallen from height accompany by his foreman, quite soiled and drench in cold sweat,
also had send thai worker to polyclinic for first aid stitching, crushed thumb.
a adult mental patient with dried sh!t on his pajama,
a elderly indonesian pax emitting vomits sound throughout her taxi trip after her ordeal from the ferry, she had severve motion sickness.
my personal worst encounter 10+ years ago.
felt the sourily rumble rising from my stomach, cough a few time but nothing came out. when cleaning the specks of bloody tissue flake left on the front seat of my taxi, from a unshowered, dirty, haggard, entangled hair vagabond with numberous exposed skin warts...
then,
last month a diabetic pax show me his one foot long and four inches wide wound.... undressed.
the usual common mutton/fish/fried food stale odors from everyday food handlers....
part of our occupational hazards, and in a day's work.
Good thing I choose my pax... even if thats against the damn LTA law so be it! The Gahmen & taxi companies aren't the ones cleaning up my taxi, or be responsible if I should be robbed, hence I still choose my passenger even at taxi stand!
I'm waiting to drink kopi with LTA and see what I will do to them!
