"It's all because of a traffic jam at the junction of Jurong West Avenue 5 and Pioneer Road north.
"It happened around 6am and last till around 7am. It appears that a Comfort Toyota Crown taxi had a collision with an SBS Transit bus.
"The taxi was severely damaged at its front, while the bus only suffer minor damages. The accident happened in the middle of the junction, causing traffic to be blocked on 2 stretch of road.
"I would also like to praise the driver of SBS Transit bus service 242 plate number SBS 9362 A.
" He went up the double decker bus to check whether everyone is okay with the traffic jam, or if they would like to disembark.
"But for those going towards Boon Lay Bus Interchange, there's no choice but to stay in the bus. He went up twice to check with the passengers.
"He also spoke to me regarding his concern about passengers waiting for the bus at the next bus stop, those going to work and school.
"I really appreciate his concern for passengers in the bus and on the next bus stop.
"This is how all bus drivers should be, as we have a first class transport service, bus captains should also live up to their name as captain, and not just thinking about "delivering" the passengers to their destination."
