Hi someone please reply to them to wakeup their young punk asses. I believe they are very young and know not or refuse to accept the fact that their father or grandfather was also a cab driver or bullockcart puller.
"sic" just like the ACS boys who ask their fathers driving a nissan sunny to drop them off 400 M from the school entrance because "DON WAN TO LOSE FACE"..

Not so worth to bother them, very low mentality..but surprisingly Cabby can be rated as "lowlife" i thot "lowlife" is referring to those criminal activities. Pity his parent, the upbringing of this kid is screwed up somewhere, he must be having "highlife" now.
Some people did not realise that human start from the same footing and end at the same destination...resting place. Just that along the way some suffer more and some living in ivory tower but end of the day all the material gain will not be able to bring to the nether world. Come to this world with nothing and end with nothing.

Don't be bother about them. Always remember that when you point 1 finger at others, the other 4 fingers are pointing at you back...

If we get involved with their names calling, than we are no different from them. We are professional drivers and so we should just ignored such ignorance and childish act...

It takes 2 hands to clap, so if we just ignore them, their topic will die off very soon...

I am a qualified PILOT since I was eighteen.

I flew in the military and proudly served the nation of Singapore.

I hold my head up and declare : SINGAPORE I owe you nothing !

I fulfilled my 13 yrs of Reservist ICT ( everyone high key ok !! )

I started the SILKAIR when SIA wanted a regional airline.

I still hold an american flying licence as well as CAAS CPL ( commercial pilots' licence )

I STAND PROUDLY and say I AM A TAXI DRIVER !

It is an Honest and Hardworking life. It is not a low-life.

It is like any professional where low-lifes can creep in . Ha ha.

I have a junior friend but senior in driving taxi- he is now in Australia teaching our

Jetstar pilots how to fly - so what say you???

I have this SIA pilot now driving SMRT toyota crown - health reasons.

One of the best Singaporean Fighter Pilot drives a taxi. His studednt ( flying )

are top SAF Officers ( Colonels ) and TOP GUNS. They fly F-16

His name is KOH BENG KAI .COL Andy Tan ( retired ) was his student.

You want proof - go to SINGAPORE YOUTH FLYING Club. Col Tan is the GM.

I want to tell you also Kelvin Tan aka SUperstar was my student.

I taught singing also for 15 yrs but I like to drive taxis - it is a conscious choice.

I thought I topped it all but a week ago I met a Merc driver - formally a CEO

He worked for an American bank. He is driving taxi till he sells all his assets

and give up his citizenship because he doesn't want to associate with

Singaporean low-lifes, he doesn't mind mixing with TAXIUNCLES. He sounded serious and I

believe him because he carries himself very well. I can easily vote him Cabby-of -the

year.

Getting back to the point : The forumer that called taxi drivers low-life is living in the

pass. Check it out yourself i.e. there are a host of educated cabbies here and they are

gentlemanly too.

THE TAXI DRIVER"S STANDARD HAS GONE UP .The profiles are going up too.

Many degree holders even Master degree- I remember one from SMRT TAN GAUT CHIU.

WOW... agreed with you bro...

I am sure there are already lots of highly qualified and experience bros here in this forum...

Why not we start a tread and let bros here introduce yourself and you pass history to let the general public knows that the profile of taxi drivers are changing....

This was one of the suggestions raised during our brain storming to improve this forum...

I truly believe eversince i've joined the club.... our Bros on the road belong to a new wave of drivers who are educated . articulate, tech savvy n lastly they are professional in their delivery and that is what this industry is looking for.

Since there is a starter... let's begin and sticky this thread ...

Next

Taxi tis line should be wonderful... Yes i agree any customer that board in can give us any command but even we dun like them or they dun like us... from tuas to changi the maxium journey is onli 45 mins the most.. once they got down we r free again..

Even u r a GM in a veri big coy.. Ha Ha there's still alot of big shot above u & if u dun like them or they dun like u.. as long as u want the job u got to face them till they quit or u!!!

So Guys isn't taxi driving is better then a AM, M, SM & GM...
