Buangkok-KPE link opens Yeo Ghim Lay By Yeo Ghim Lay
A NEW road link to the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway opened in Sengkang on Sunday morning.
The 1.32km long Buangkok East Drive will connect Buangkok Drive to the KPE, and help nearby residents cut their travelling time to the city by up to seven minutes.
Minister for Defence and advisor for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Teo Chee Hean opened the new road link in a ceremony attended by over 1,000 residents.
The road, which consists of a 200m vehicular bridge over Sungei Serangoon, will open to traffic today from 5pm onwards.
Residents can now use it to drive directly to the KPE instead of accessing it via the Tampines Expressway (TPE). ---------------0000000000----------------
