Yes it's OK,provided you just 'drop n go' you can also drive to the front of the Q,some TS had a drop-off box in front of the TS.My 2 cents!biggrin.gifsmile.gif

bro NewTaxiDriver;
I believe all new taxi driver go thru that. Know the location, not sure of the fastest n shortest way in. Sometime take wrong lane or not sure which exit along expressway. After scolding then can remember .(very sure u will not make the same mistake again.)

If not sure ask pax which route he prefer. Is better than "UNCLE,UNCLE, WHERE R U GOING". Pax also want the fastest way to their destination. But some pax not so nice.
No matter how malu, only u and pax will know. After pax alight is a big relief. I encounter many of this. Is a learning process. When pax guide me to a strange place, after pax alighted I totally lost. Dare not pickup pax. Took the outer lane n zoom off until I reach the road directional sign.
Lots of pressure.

When I reach home, I will check the online road directory to trace the routes that I had taken to find out my mistakes or any alternative route.
Is our job to sent pax to their destination by the fastest n shortest route.

I thought my road knowledge is ok, till I started to drive taxi. Now I know many routes n places that I will not go if I'm not a taxi driver.

Am sure you will get over this phase in no time.

Mosque Street Taxi Stand is closer to Chinatown Hotel 81. But it does require you to make a bigger round. Chinatown Point T/S takes a bit of walking, Some fussy Pax may "cow father cow mother".

Cheers
Tiny

If my paxs wants to check in Chinatown Hotel 81, I'll drop them right in front of the hotel's main entrance.It is the proper and sensible thing to do.If summon comes,then it is an opportunity for me to chit chat with my MP.
