How much for taxi car wash?

Hi all seniors,

I'm a new cabby driving with a Toyota wish, I have a question would like to check with you guys, this evening when I'm on my way home (off duty) I've went to the car wash service at Hougang Ave 2 inside SPC, after washing my taxi the cleaner ask me to pay $5 and I asked him why $5 not $4 for taxi, he replied that your taxi is bigger than Toyota Crown so is $5 and this is what his boss instructed him as well.
I'm not being stingy for that $1, but my question is if the price list stated Car Wash for Taxi is $4 but end up I've to pay $5, in that case why don't they list out all prices for different taxi model???

Bro,, different Car Washer charge different rate !! Do check around !!
But the most importance point is = Do them do a gooooooood Job ?!
no point of paying some monkey $2.50 & they did a half pass six job..
just my 2 cts w.

Bro alvin, perhaps when they prepare the price list, there's still not so many type of taxis around.
Much has changed in the taxi industry for the past 18 months bro.
Btw you driving for the orange?

Hi bro, in fact they did the same job as other car wash service, I do not know why they charge highier then other, what I understand from other cabby that they usually don't really clean the taxi thoroughly becos we pay lesser then the private car..

hi bro, no the cleaner told me that there are many type of model that's why they charge differently, such as Toyota Crown/Sonata/Mercedes/Camry $4, Toyota Wish/Kia(MPV) $5, Kia (I do not know what model) $6, this is all up to them to charge...
BTW what do u mean by orange?

SPC Marsiling charges $3 for Toyota Crown and Sonata taxis.

For private cars, saloons is $5 and MPV is $6. I think it is the norm most of the car wash to charge additional $1 for bigger cars.

agreed they charge highier price for prviate car but not taxi, as we wash our taxi everyday but private car only do it when necessary....

wash yrself la. save all the half past 6 jobs.. sweat yrself after sit in cabin aircon long long.. $5 X 30 is $150 le.. can smoke half month liao
