Changi airport to orchard - which expressway / route would you take and why ?

1. Changi Airport to Mount Elizabeth Hospital
2. Changi Airport to YMCA (1 Orchard Road)

1. PIE - CTE - exit Cairnhill - U turn to Bideford rd - Mt Elizabeth Link
May not be shortest but skip a lot of traffic...

2. ECP - Rochor rd - Bencoolen st - Stamford rd
Looks like the most sensible way...

Sorry Bros, for airport to YMCA,
ECP - Rochor rd - Bencoolen st - Stamford rd is the standard route,
But with the current LTA rules you are not allow to alight the pax at stamford road.
So the last part should be straight onto fort canning and turn right into YMCA carpark to alight pax.

Bro Kee, I thought the carpark at Fort Canning is YWCA. YMCA there's no carpark, correct me if I'm wrong.smile

but bro, YMCA is just b4 CBD gantry, so the no stopping except taxi-stands rules don't apply here.
u can stop outside YMCA then turn right to get out without paying ERP.

Yes. There is a carpark in the YMCA enter at Fort Canning. You might find me parked there when I go there for a swim.

nononoBro, you are still within the CBD zone of the marina side. The gantry is for going into the orchard side of CBD. The current CBD is now in 3 zone, the business district zone from keppel road to singapore river line and the marina zone which is from singapore river line till this orchard gantry and the orchard shopping zone from this gantry till scotts road...

Agree.
AP to MountE I prefer ECP->KPE->PIE->CTE->Cairnhill
Beautiful scenery & bypass horrible jams @ payalebar & Eunos.
