Cabby insists on bringing me to JB, even though I tell him to go to Eunos
STOMPer Some1Not Pleased told a cabby to drive him to Eunos MRT Station, so that he could take the train to Kranji and from there board a bus back to Johor Bahru.
However, the cabby insisted on bringing the STOMPer all the way to JB.
This STOMPer says:
"On 29th December 2008, I called a cab and thecar plate number was 7171.
"I boarded the cab at a hotel in Aljunied.
"I told the cabby to send me to Eunos MRT Station, as I wanted to take a MRT to Kranji and then take a bus to JB.
"But the cabby said I can take a cab from 4th Street to JB which costs onlySG$3.00, but I insisted on going to Eunos MRT Station.
"It was 8am on Monday and he charged me anadditional SG$7.90 forpeak hour surchargeand didnt give me a receiptor help me to take out my luggage.
"Does this happen totourists who cometo Singapore?
"From Aljunied to Kaki Bukitand then to Eunos, itcost me SG$22.00. What a price to pay!"
Wah lau!!! This guy really failed his maths one. Hopelessess!!! Taking a taxi from Aljunied to Eunos would already cost him about $7 to $8 during peak hours. Plus, all the extra time in transfer and waiting for the 3 modes of transport just to get to JB. Also dunno want what he told the taxi uncle that cost him to think that pax want to go to JB. I suspect the complaint guy also probably got problem in communications. Or maybe the taxi uncle is due for ear candling and servicing anytime. He...he....
