as to your questions...firstly it's your preference to run w/days or w/ends...me personally wld suggest w/ends to get the feel otr with lesser traffic...w/ends may not get demanding paxs who always say "uncle im late for work"... furious

how good is your road direction? if is good, take day, if not bery good, take nite
becos most of the time is pax going home at nite and easier for them to guide you. smile

Thanks Fairfare for the quick reply. First of all i came across this forum through a bet with my GF. We were arguing that there is no such thing as a forum for taxi driver and a search on the internet points me to this direction.

I will be going to register myself with comfort this few days and take the course to learn how to operate the call system thing and the nets and credit card machine. Finally then as soon as i find a cab i will try to pratice the trade.

Lastly NT1=new taxi hehehehe...

Road direction i also not sure if i am good anot. In life everytime i think i am good at something there is bound to be some stuffs happening to make me feel like i know nothing so i don't dare to say i am good. I will probably be driving around with the help of a GPS.

Where do you stay at ? If near Serangoon North, maybe we can share a cab. I have lost my Hirer and am looking to tie up with someone who will drive Nights and weekends. I have 2 GPS that I use to find my way around and have been driving for 1 year with Comfort.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I had my first taste of being on the road yesterday night. Took one of those pay only when u drive yellow top taxi. I was prepared to lose alot of money and it turns out it was not as bad and difficult as i thought. Overall i would say i had a fun night. I lost about 4sgd last night.. cry
