My hardest day

Looks like passengers are getting lesser and lesser. Don't talk about booking within CBD during peak hour.... $3.5+$3+35%??? alreay inside museum long time ago, office no OT, ppl got no money..... ppl prefer walk 20 mins..... simply because empty pocket.

Today was the hardest day since my hands on the steering wheel.

1st job: Q in T1 35 mins, a lady rejected from another cab approached me asked Do you accept credit card payment? On the meter... she told me I want to go Simei St4... nofare included surcharge $10.2

2nd ~ 5th job: highest score $6.2

6th: Q @ St James, pax told me go Pearl Centre. no

7th: Q @ Clark Quay 20mins, pax told me go CHIJMES no

8th: Q @ Explanade 25mins, pax told me go PAN!!! PACIFIC!!! HOTEL!!!no

Alama, quick quick press BUSY button, settle bill first... collection after paying rental and diesel left $15, no bad... go 7-11 bought a Marbolo Flesh Mint + Tiger... earning==zero.... haha... go home sleep.

take it easy bro... no lost can liaos.. maybe u need to tune yr way of driving.. go another direction and less Q-ing.. or Q place that will have far trip 1...

hmm... think 80% on luck of cabbies for the day...

I kena 1 nite, get $50+ for 1st 2hr, then KOSONG for the nxt 3hrs...disbelief
F*#king no mood, lazy to wash taxi, go petrol kiosk pay $3 n enjoy ppl spraying water at me hahaha tears.gif

Amazing hor... but it really happen 2 nites ago...

Juz hope for a better tommorrow lor....

There is always some... SOME bad days. : ( BUT Tomorrow is another day. Bring a stalk of "ang Huey" with you and ward away bad luck.
And if the 1st 2 hours are bad...quickly go to car wash and wash away yesterdays bad karma.

When morale down to btm of the valley I know I will loose temper, how to control??? I shall try go car wash next round. smile.gif

I know some pax will go to the end of the Q when their trip is short - SALUTE!!! When bad luck come really can't hide, plying along street front kena back kena turn left turn right all kosong. Mid night Q @ One Raffles Quay 1 hour, go Club Street.... aiyo poor cabby life.

Queue or Don't Q??? Drive or Don't Drive??? or I should say EAT OR DONT EAT???

When times are bad for you, call us for kopi and pour your sorrow to us lo....
You'll feel better after the kopi and you'll get to enjoy the tiger at home after.

no cabbies can tell you everyday is a rosy day...when a bad day comes plan B will come in

as u mentioned...economic crisis seeps in...AP arrival is down means no more paxs at hot spots...Q is a waste of time...paxs need cabs not as a luxury but necessity

so go to places where there's no mrt or poor bus service routes...things might changesmile

listen to our wise bro pirate...he knows what he's saying...for him die die go home with 3 figures hahabiggrinbiggrin

the scenerio now is ppl will tighten their pockets...or car pool with their friends or share cab...Q is time consuming now...or for those with short trips...in cbd taxis Q long long for paxs with less than 5km...only lucky wld get more than 10km...paxs dun book cabs in cbd since suplus of cabs waiting at TS

try Lim Chu Kang nr cemetries...sure will get booking from the living hehebiggrinbiggrin

ha juz to update...
I had a 'better tomorrow' last nite...biggrin

All was smooth n juz to highlight 1 pax...
pick up a lady with a dog @ bt timah heading to sunset way.
she keep on thanking me for not rejecting her, saying dat few others zoom away aft seeing her with a dog sprint.gif
So we chat all d way to Clementi Park, fare was $12.60, she give me 20bucks n say 'keep it, bye' n get dwn the cab, leaving me stunned...
This is the 1st time I recv so much 'tips', n no time to say thanks to her...smile

Juz curious...
will u guys pick up pax with pets?
if no, Y huh?

Wah ! Good tip. Did you check your backseat after they got off ? Maybe got Dog Poo or Pee behind and the tip was for you to wash up .. Hahaha..sorry for being the pessimist.
