Need advice on Transcab Wish

Seems like there's more red wish on the roads now
wish to try a wish for once a week (day shift - probably wed or thur)
and see if without calls better than oncall

Can any bro advice on the following
1. Deposit - how much ?
2. Topup - normally is it take full and return full ? or count by mileage travelled ?
My day run usually around the region of 350 ~ 400km
so if 1 full CNGtank can only go 250km, then i need to top up 2 times or let it go on petrol ?

Huh ? Deposit $1000 just to try out Wish for a week ? U siao bo ?

TransCab Wish no call one , so i focus solely what's on the street, as a matter of fact , hope u guys believe me , i earn more with Wish than with a Comfort .

No doubt i got more bookings on a Comfort , until when i started to drive Wish , i discovered , got booking no necessary got more $$$ .

When CNG Full tank , when it hit 220km mark , it's using reserve CNG , reserve can tahan another 50km , i tried before .

Then after 270km , it switch automatically to petrol .

Mostly take full return full , convenient for all party ma .

When topping up , my hirer and me don't calculate too much where we top-up , as long before handover it's FULL Tank . It's either at Toh Tuck or Mandai .

It also applied to petrol , must fill up full tank before handover .

In the event we do more paxes after topping up , 1 km $0.15 .

Mandai , i discovered , it usually top-up almost 100% full , no Toh Tuck , if my hirer top up at Toh Tuck , i will have less mileage on a full tank , maybe the mechanism used by Toh Tuck is like that . Like before 270 empty liao . Mandai i can tahan until 270km .

U don't necessary finished the CNG then refill , half tank also can refill , if nearby station .

If got paxes , not vacant , it's worthwhile to run on petrol for the trip , will not lose money , still will make , make less a bit only .

If u are those type of character , troublesome here troublesome there , every single cents lu-ghee also calculate , dun drive a CNG Red Wish !!

when driving a Comfort , with like 6-9 bookings , my best Friday night collection from 4.30pm to 12am is $220 , never beyond that !

I started off a Wish also from 4.30pm , but when i clocked 12.30am , my best ever record is collection $245 .... with just one advance call @ 9pm to Airport !!!

That was a Friday's comparison .

Last Wednesday , i broke my personal 8 year driving record with a Red Wish , 4.30pm started , time 12.20am i stop work , i clocked $230 ! Never did that before with Comfort .

Mind you $230 with 0 call !!! All street !!

Call important for me ? used to , not now !!!

Tactically , Red Wish is just saw-stop-pick&go ! Faster to do business , base on current situation . Base on current fare structure .

For a Comfort , must vacant down town , hit Shenton Way , wait , if not cruise until durian drop , if too many durian pickers , must see who lucky , this sort of life , i am tired of it , that's one reason i quit last August .

Being a high flyer call-man before at comfort ..... 3-5 calls daily b4 i quit , it's nothing !

Compared to the days when i was the first 100 3rd Generation 738 MDT , once start engine , take calls until stop my engine , so common to take 13 calls everyday , can be 0 street .

The calls is not like go Woodland and die there !

We were the control centre favourite son , cos to use 738 MDT , it's those Cat A drivers , 99% 5 minutes ETA type of drivers , never No Show , Never late etc ...

Go woodlands , u will still have jobs to go airport type of bookings !!!

Those NC 2000 , Sapphires , all simply no match for 738 MDT .

We were the Top-100 sets to put on trial .... we feedback the good , the bad , they also listen to feedback from those NC 2000's and Sapphires MDT , and upgrade to current 4G MDT now .

we were so tired of taking $4 booking , and we actually let go $2.50 bookings . No kick .

I ever paid something like $187 for admin fee , base on $0.70 per piece .

Since they overhaul the fare structure , it's the end for me taking bookings .

No calls for me , drive Comfort ? drive ki lan !!!

Believe me , to compare apple to apple , fundamentally Wish is like no call , how to drive ? But if can forgo bookings , it's faster to earn money from Wish . Easier for the collection to pick up .

I dunno , Wish to me , like everyone loves to sit on this MPV . Except for some nets payment , i never encounter any problem . Not Nets , credit card can ? yes , Wish can pay by credit card !

If everyone dun shun your taxis like a Chrysler , it's rosy to drive a Wish .

That's my most honest opinion .

Wish ar ?

I summed up

No call ....

No Nets ....

Yes Credit card ...

Powerful engine , but slow pick-up ...

No blind spots like Sonata .

Better engine brake than a Sonata .

It's higher than a Sonata , better traffic view .

Heavier than Sonata , plus the gas tank , heavier , full tank even heavier .

Quieter engine than Crown , and an older diesel-powere Sonata ...

Must be use to refilling CNG ... take about 30 minutes all in all to do a refill .

And meter for Wish like faster , hahahahaha .

And i seldom see any accidents involving a Red Wish .... I saw many Crowns , and some Sonata , also rare la , but i never see any Wish hit any car into their backside .

The ABS is fantastic that's all .

Wish also got balloons , hahahahah .

I love the horn of the Wish , powerful !!

If u are those smooth cruiser , Wish is good . No hurry type . But when Wish hit the highway , u can see , it's a really fierce machine !!

if u want a Sporty type of vehicle , pick up faster than ferrari , than Wish is not the most ideal for u .

sorry, i gave my opinion as a night shift driver , day shift could be different .

Still i really dun think day shift got much bookings .... if base on taxi population during the day and demands .

Just give you a guideline on my personal experience .

Between an on-call and no call at all differences .
