needed advice for a hit n run case in a hdb parking lot

hopefully im in the rite department for posting this.
i needed some advice from the old birds here aww
two days ago i park my taxi opposite a rubbish bin collection center(fyi, its is a parking lot) around 3 am. den on the same day around 9.45am, my galfriend took something from my taxi and everything was still ok.. however until 2pm which i came down i found out my rite front headlamp, signals n bonnet was hit . i also found out from my taxi dent that its was bang by a truck instead of a car which i immediately suspect its might be the rubbish truck doing. i dial up 999 n TP for a report. i also tried to call up sembcorp n town council supvor which he came down after tat.. later which he says that the truck did came around 1.30pm. sembcorp also call up later saying the driver denied and offer to drive up the truck for mi to inspect which i declined coz from wat i understand is every truck oni came to bin center once a day (same model same driver every day)which means he is off duty le( he could have driven another model for mi to see). wat i proposed is tat the next day he come for bin collecting i could come down to inspect.and sembcorp readily agrees. however they din call mi down when the driver was at work today. so no choice i went down to npc to make a formal report...
needed some advice is
1) wat if i found out tat the dent on my taxi fits perfectly to some parts of his truck but the driver keeps on denying?
2) if i report to taxi coy will they allow mi to cliam insurance to repair?
3) wat should my next step be?

to mi the dent might be a little bit(around a few hundreds to repair bah) but its the irresponsibility tat the driver is showing which i was very upset(somemore its a sat... completely no mood to work after tat..

maybe some one could offer mi some advice? thanksaww

Do you think that the rubbish truck you suspected of causing the damage with solid steel at the back of his truck will get any damage since your damage is minor.

2) if i report to taxi coy will they allow mi to cliam insurance to repair?

Since you got no evidence to support your claim and by reporting to taxi company they will advise you to standby $1k in your piggy bank.

3) wat should my next step be?

Since no evidence to support your claim, I advise you to spend some money and get it repaired and move on.

Btw what taxi model are you driving ?

Bro Undertaker, I agree with above comments.

Go on the road and make money,
instead of wasting time trying to
make reports, claim here and there.

Yup agree with Bro Poolman. Just called up comfort yesterday regarding my claim liability n they dead dead want me to pay an exorbitant sum. Somemore the installment plan is no installment at all as I have to pay everything by Nov'09.
So conclusion, coy only help their pockets and make sure they are answerable to their stakeholders and not cabbies like us. A painful lesson for me indeed.

Do your best to settle it mutually. Unless you r very sure dat u r not at fault.
Taxi co will be very happy if u make a report.

My taxi driver friend was involved in a 5 vehicles chain collision last year. He was the 2nd last car.
When he report to the reporting centre. The staff that handle his report say that he do not need to pay any accident liability by looking at the damage of his taxi front n back.

Ditto. I was involved in a 5-vehicle chain collision a few months back.
Mine was 3rd vehicle, CDG did not demand for the $1k liability.
Till now, the case is still not closed and I m still waiting for my loss of income claim
and personal medical claims.
In a chain collision, pray that the vehicle behind hits u.
Don't be the last vehicle or ur pocket will be burnt.

Was told that it will takes about a year.
If no further claim comes in, then they will finialise all the claims n close case.
