Will you use biodiesel?

What is biodiesel?

Biodiesel is the name of a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. It can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or no modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics.

I saw notice in CDG restrict drivers using biodiesel otherwise we need to pay for repair cost.

CDG just doesn't want you to buy diesel from other sources

Not really. As far as I know CDG $0.88 is the cheapest in town. Biodiesel is around $1.10.
FYI, if you used purely biodiesel, there has been studies done that sluge will build up in the engine oil sump cause problems to the engine...

Market rate is abt eighty over cents per liter. I use biodiesel for my cab few mths back when i was driving as an OMO but not now. Engine so far so good lor.
As an OMO u can save up 2 more than $10 a day compare to topping up at petrol station. That's my personal pt of view hor......smile

I am using it on my combo van. One big advantage is quiet even I blended 50% immediately I can hear the difference. In another word it means that less maintenance cost bcos less carbon sulphide built up on valve and cylinder.

For new design veh, such as Euro 4 it is safe to use without any modification. Old veh built around 1993 the fuel line is rubber base an d therefore if using pure bio will notice minor leak on pipe. P.S. info is gathered from webbie so pls dun blame me.

Bro kee's point is valid! Biodiesel is a type of cleaner, it clean up sludge residue from diesel inside fuel tank and fue line. Sluge will accumulative inside fuel filter... clog.

Veh has been using fossil diesel for years need to prepare to replace fuel filter after a certain period, after 1 to 2 times replacement entire fuel tank and fuel line should be free of sludge.

Look at price of fuel outside, price has been up 3 times and just reduced lightly last week. Why CDG still maintain at 0.88? They don't need money? Pity us?

Thanks to biodiesel, if not you diesel price already rocket up.
