Logically, majority of them will just close one eye when they see taxi uncles
going for toilet or coffee break.
Just that it wasn't your night to encounter one that was really on the ball.
Almost every TD has this kind of bad day.
Relax lah !

Ya...got one time, i parked along a road with hazard lights on....just finished eating , saw xiaobai coming and stopped by the pte car(no hazard lights)that just stopped for 2mins ago, he went to pee and come out got ticket....i quickly drove off before he came to me....

Even if you are willing to display night parking coupon the parking lots are
usually from deck 4 or 5 at multi-storey car park. For open air car park I will
parked within sight.

I won't curse them for doing their job. I just hope that they are fair
and at time "be flexible", don't target TD. Many ppl money are also hard
earn.

For me ,I will only go for my break at outlets that provide value-added
service or places that I feel safe.
Value-added service is announcing the arrival of the "men in white".
Many food outlets provide that service. Season TD will know where they are.
Do not wish to post them here.
At certain time of the day you can find lot of taxi parking at those places.

If TD take this common stand. Our voice will be heard. $50.80 coffee will
be history.

Fail to display parking coupon got fine, park along double yellow line go toilet or kopi got fine, park multi storey carpark need to go to roof top but once there need to display $2 night coupon otherwise FINE... very tough for TDs.

My taxi always in status HIRED when I am away from the vehicle.... because.... pax says no money need to go take money and I've been waiting so long that's why go to lift lobby, or, go kopi shop, go KTV, go massage..... see if my money fly lor.... apeal apeal apeal.... white man knows this so never kena before.

My taxi always in status HIRED - How u maintain the HIRED status at your rooftop?
Did you leave then engine running?
How do you lock your taxi if there is a key inside?

Sorry to ask, coz when i off engine, the rooftop display is gone....i only brought 1 key with me, so i need to off the engine then i can lock the door.

Legally thinking this is wrong no need to argue, but, what if all pax say no money need to go atm or go upstairs blablala.... taxi drivers wait or don't wait? at least can allow grace period for driver go atm machine see if pax still around before drive away, right?

Some atm machines are quite far from road side, some may be inside the shopping mall so in between white man came issue ticket, can't appeal is unfair.... later all pax go atm, shall we display coupon follow them???

I believe they are smart enough to allow certain room for TDs but don't make it to the extreme.

its don't worked with Sonata !!
unless U spent some $$$ to modifity your Sonata ,,,otherwise ,,, Spare Key don't work !!

Bro, there's a way to lock a Sonata's car doors, even with the key still inside.
Wind down the driver side window b4 u close the doors.
After closing the doors, use the auto button to close the window.
But BE SURE u have a spare key hor...
