Changi Airport to The Sail(opposite One Raffles Quay)

11 Nov 09 2020h.

Got a ang moh pax from Changi Airport , going to The Sail. Went by ECP intend to exit by Marina. Approaching Rochor rd exit somewhere just after the 80km/h speed camera, pax asked me to go by Rochor, I was taken by surprise as usually ang moh pax will let me decide my path. So I was inLane 2 filtered all the way towards the Rochor Rd exit.....Pax wanted to go by Rochor Rd>Beach Rd>Middle Rd>Nicoll Highway>Esplanade Dr>Fullerton Rd>Collyer Quay>Marina Boulevard.

Immediately after turning into Nicoll highway, the traffic comes to a standstill. There are traffic police holding back the oncoming vehicles, and 1 Lane closed.Took about 5-10mins before we actually passed it to Esplanade Dr.

Traffic jam is not good for both pax and TUs, some pax often misunderstood TU that we like the jam as the meter keep ticking.

I would like to ask - is there anything wrong with going by the exit thru Marina? confuse
If pax choose a route thatyou do not wish to go(eg.traffic jam/road closure), what would you do?
Despite telling him there are possible traffic jam along on his chosen route, he still insisted on going that way?

Bro, that's the way it is. Despite warning him about possible traffic jam adn he still insists,
then LL and follow his instructions lor. Like bro Tu said, pax is paymaster.
My experience, from Jurong Port Rd to Tampines St 33 costs pax $47.60 becoz she's too
stubborn to listen to my warning about a terribly bad jam on PIE, from Kallang Way to Bt Timah.

0400h went to explore this route by exit Marina From ECP....Entered Central Boulevard ERP Gantry, didnt see One Raffles Quay & The Sail. Left turn and its on Shenton Way....turned right to maxwell then to Robinson rd....the whole street is silent, then got a pax out of nowhere flagged and go to Holland Village. Seems like exiting by Marina would be a much longer way......but could be faster since of the APEC road block.

While travelling along cross st, got a empty taxi behind me, I saw few guys flagging for taxi, but dunno what-ghost cover the TU eyes, he didnt see them....

You gotta go straight and turn left at the junction of Hong Leong Building then turn rights at the AIA budiling again. Then you will see One Raffles Quay
