Bidding for car registration numbers kicks into gear
Minimum bid must be $1000.
According to an LTA release, bidding for car registration numbers 1 to 9999 in the SKJ series will start from 8.00 am on 10 November 2012 (Saturday)
and end at 12 noon on 17 November 2012 (Saturday). Interested members of the public are invited to submit their bids.
The minimum bid amount is $1,000/-. Offer higher than $1,000/-shall be in multiples of $1/-. Bid amount must be made in full in the form of Cashier¡¯s /
Money / Postal Order only and made payable to the Land Transport Authority or LTA. Payments by cheque will not be accepted.
All bids must be made on prescribed forms and envelopes that can be obtained from:

Working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, and Saturdays from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon. All payments for bids must be made by
cashier¡¯s order, money order or postal order. Each registration number will be suffixed with a letter of the English alphabet. The numbers can only be
used for registration of new car or replacement of existing car registration numbers in an individual¡¯s or company¡¯s name. Successful bidders will not
be allowed to transfer the car registration number. Further details on the bidding procedures can be found in the prescribed bid form.
The registration numbers and their suffixes will be available for viewing from Friday, 9 November 2012, 4.00 pm, at the notice board located at LTA,
10 Sin Ming Drive, Level 1, VTL Customer Service Centre, Singapore 575701. They will also be available online at the ONE.MOTORING website (http://www.onemotoring.com.sg).
Bidders can check the results of the bidding exercise via ONE.MOTORING website on Friday, 23 November 2012, from 4.00pm onwards.
Successful bidders may start using the successful bid number from Saturday, 24 November 2012 onwards.
