Bigger prawns add more flavour to prawn noodles soup

Singapore, November 18, 2012

Judging for the annual Singapore Hawker Masters awards has begun, with the panel of judges starting their rounds of tasting with lontong.

Over the next few weeks, they will sample food from the top stalls in six categories. The finalists were determined by more than 14,000 public votes.

Results will be announced on Nov 28.

The finalists are:

Prawn noodle soup

  • The Old Stall Hokkien Street Famous Hokkien Mee, Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, 02-67 Beach Road
  • Prawn Noodle House, 370/372 East Coast Road
  • Whitley Road Big Prawn Noodle, Old Airport Road Food Centre, 01-98

Indian rojak
