I am in my early 40s , male. I have an understanding wife and a beautiful 7 years old daugther. For all my 20 odd years of work, i have been doing industrial sales. Income is not too bad,especially 2005 to 2009. i manage to earn about 80k per year.
I could have earn more, but i was too lazy or complacent. And due to laziness,refusing to learn, my sales decline and eventuallylose my job in 2011. At that time i still have savings of about 120k. but i lost in all now at the casino, over a period of 6 to 8 months.
Money lost can be earn back, but my problem is that , i feel lost touch at work (no technical knowledge, no strong rapport with customer) . Even if i got a job, i worry that i cannot deliver.
I have been a part time relief driver for about 8 years. Right now i am thinking about driving full time , if i still unable to gat a sales job by Feburary . I have the energy to drive but if i want to earn more (like4000+) , likely i will neglect my family time or at the expense of health. Hope to hear some advise. Thanks
