STOMPer Tay is seeking witnesses after being involved in a crash with a cabby at the junction of Stamford and Hill Street.

The STOMPer says the cabby had admitted his part in the crash, only to deny all responsibility the next day.

The STOMPer explained the situation: "On Dec 7, 2012 at around 12.30am to 12.45pm I met with a car accident at the

junction between Stamford and Hill Street. The cab dashed through the red light and hit me. "After the accident, I immediately

withdrew the memory card from his in-car camera. However when the police came, they claimed that I could not take his personal property, and I had to return it back to him.

"On that day, he still felt remorseful on what he did. But the following day he changed his statement, stating that he was driving at 60km/h while the

light was amber, stating that I was the one dashing through the red light and that the memory card was damaged when I withdrew it from his camera.

"I noticed a LTA Electronic Junction Eye camera there, but upon request from LTA, they stated that the camera did not happen to take any footage.

"I was thinking, why have a junction camera when it does not take the junction at all?

"As they state, the camera was under the control of an operator who is on duty so I don't know where he had the camera turned to.

"I did remember that when the accident happened, a guy was driving and had asked me whether I was ok.

"I hope I am able to find him as a witness and help me bring justice to the inconsiderate and dangerous cabby."
