Found an old post (Sept '06) regarding Ram Tiwary (accused, acquitted of Sydney dbl murders), then happened to check up on some stuff.

He did COCC (Cdo Officer Conversion Course), did full airborne training (with combat jumps(with full pack) unlike non-Cdo who do only

clean fatigue jump, was in Hendon Camp after OCS til he went study. Then he did Ranger Cse, and actually did all 66 days, not 40 like

some claimed. The only day he did not attend was last day, which was the passing-out.

Made me think was SAF trying to help him out or something saying he non-Cdo, only did 40 days etc.?
