STOMPers reported flash floods in the late morning in eastern parts of Singapore. Vehicles got stuck in the flood water, said STOMPer Hardik.

Wrote Hardik:

"On Sunday morning about 10am there was a flash flood at the Chai Chee Road and New Upper Changi Road junction.

"A limo cab was stuck in the flood, with more than half of it submerged. The driver had to swim out, ending up completely drenched.

"All the drains were flooded as well.

"Many vehicles U-turned at the junction but at least three buses with passengers in them could not move any further.

"A biker tried to speed through the water but his bike got completely submerged and got stuck.

"The flood went down after an hour but the taxi couldn't move anymore."

Said AlexAstonChua:

"The road between the Singapore Post Centre and Paya Lebar MRT was flooded.

"This happened at 11.22am. I was in a cab with my girlfriend and we noticed all the cars diverting to the right lane because of the heavy flooding of the road at that area till the pavement."

Wrote STOMPer Fallen Pieces via Facebook:

"Paya lebar area flooded to the max."
