1st of all ,, pls forget abt driving a Mercs Taxi as the renal will kill U because U are a new bird ,,, let's start from BASIC !!! (I am wondering why many new bird thinking of driving a Mercs Taxi as a start ?!?!)
2nd of all ,, U can oso forget abt CNG taxi ,,,, just look at Trans Cab garage parked with thousand of CNG operated Toyota Wish ,,, U will know what I mean !
Diesel operated Taxi still a cheapest mean of business mode for a TD !!
okie ... which Taxi Company to join ?!
basically there only 2 companies for U to select :
1) the BIG brother : Comfort (Blue & Yellow) : good : many diesel kiosks across the island that U can pump cheap diesel, pax can paymany cashless mode (very importance to nite shift TD), many call-bookings (very good if U landed in ulu ulu places such as Tuas, Holland, Bt Timah area) no-good : they like to entertain pax complaints ,, so many "this 1 can not,, that 1 another can not" rules.
2) all other taxi company (red,,, green,, silver,, white etc) good : pax complaint = boh chap ! no-good : not many diesel kiosk for U to top up ,, they also got cashless system(limited) but U would not like to use it as their accounting system suck big time that U got to monitor their refund to U closely !
So, the choice is Up to u !!

hi wayneenyaw ... A very Big welcome to this trade .. U may want to spend some time to read thought the document that U signed with the "Silve" , especially the Car Accident clause , I know few of Silver Drivers gone to Official Assignee because of it ! Good lucks and drive safe .
