STOMPer Sebastian sent in a video showing a group of people, including aunties, who turned aggressive after a cabby honked to signal that the taxi in front was blocking the road.

The way I see it....Singapore is a PRESSURE COOKER....every one explodes easily....
Passengers see taxi service as expensive and so have high expectations of taxi drivers.
Taxi drivers have high pressure to pay for rental/ diesel and bring back high income to pay their bills. So they rushed like hell to optimize the peak hours.
Taxi companies are reporting record profits because of good income from rental and other related sources.
Passengers take it out on taxi drivers when it gets on their nerves. This is a love-hate relationship in process...Love because they need their services (i.e. you can see that they are potential passengers trying to get into the cab) but hate because the taxi behind is not serving them (but serving someone else).
Honking to hurry them is pretty normal after a while (but perhaps the taxi driver was too quick with the horn in this instance). But honking 4 times really pissed them off and they want to gang up for a fight. SAD !!!
Perhaps, if you know some (or each one) of these people personally, they could be really nice to you....
In the end, so long as tempers cool, they will regret their actions (and so long as no one gets hurt), it will be just another episode in the encounter between 2 sets of complete strangers.
Road Bullies are getting jail sentences more frequently.
In Singapore, there is no gun allowed or it may end up like in those places where they carry guns...they just shoot at your cars when they are not happy.
When you get out of your car, they will shoot you!!! Ha !! Ha !!
The statistics are actually very "unreal" because many cases go un-reported.....
The other day, in the early hours of the morning, when I was alighting someone along a small and narrow stretch of road in an exclusive housing estate. As cars are parked along one side and left with just one lane to pass through, there was a big car driven by a lady who had no patience and pressed the honk twice. The slight delay of less than 30 seconds was not even tolerated.....WTH....
