For all New Drivers


Hi all, I am a new driver, decided to go with Crown Comfort. Below are some details I have gathered by calling all taxi companies just now.

Hope it can help the rest who are new too.

*Only posting cabs for new driver, the rest of taxi will need experiences so i wont be posting any. All price include GST already. Nett nett.

Comfort/ CityCab

Security Deposit: $1000

Contract: 7 days notice for return

Toyota Crown: $83.46
1-2 weeks

Sonata: $109-$115 depends on age of taxi

6-8 weeks

Premier Cab

Security Deposit: $750

Contract: 3 months

Kia Magentis: $102

Waiting time: Immediate

Prime Cab

Security Deposit: $1500

Contract: 1 year

Fielder, Airwave, Partner or Wish: $70-90 please refer to their website (all Petrol)

Waiting time: Immediate

Trans Cab

No information given to me

SMART Cab

Mercedes: $103 (Petrol)

Waiting time: Immediate

SMRT Cab

Security Deposit: $1000

Contract: 1 year

Chev Epica: $123.05

Waiting Time: 2 months

And I just gotten my license today!!!

just to add on, security deposit for transcab is $1,000. new epica is $123+ but i dun know about the waiting time...

Yeah. My crown coming in 10 days time. 83.46 per day but the down point is I will need to drive this crown till next year till scrap.

In the mean time while driving, I cant change to other taxi. Can only change when the taxi is scrapped.

Anyway, can anyone share with me where to pry for passenger during 6-9.30am?
And where to pry from 3pm-6pm?

6-9.30am ,, all HDB estates & pte properties area is hot hot hot !! avoid CBD and Fty area ! ( if U landed there ,, get out from those area and go residential area immediately )

3pm-6pm ,, everywhere also can ...
