I'm in about the same as you. So rather than wait wait, i go find out which taxi companies can let me have the earliest taxi to rent.

Hi Taxiuncle,

Any ideawhat is the T&C on this "Free & Easy Daily Rental" as they don't request for deposit as I'm very keen to try on during my free day or Sat / Sun.

i'm not really too sure becos i never asked. what i heard is, most of the drivers are regular. not all though but most of them.

so for those cabs that are always changing driver, no one take care. no

and i think they usually reserve the cab for those that drive regularly.

maybe u should call to check for more details. and plz update us here. biggrin

good luck! smile

i think the $115 to premier is for your insurance. is non refundable and is not a deposit. smile

anyway, we wait for your news.

Yeah i also called them up.

For the moment, no yellow top taxi. All fully booked.
Then they will ask where you staying then they will mentioned a certain location and ask what time and day u want.
They also asking me to take silver taxi.

Starting when speaking, they don't sound friendly but when i also sound boring and uninterested when they tell me so many rules etc, suddenly they become keen and friendly back :P

$115 is for the insurance, not deposit. This has to be done at Premier office.

$58 is for 12 hours shift, regardless day or night. Available for the taxi & car models, are purely subject to availability on the day you want. You need to, so call, "book" few days in advance. Do not expect the car to be in good condition. If you are driving, at least check the vehicle twice a day: 1 time when you take the car, & 1 time before you hand over the car. If you spot any dent or scratches when you take the car, report to the in-charge straight away. If not, you have to bear the repair fee. It's not cheap.

Good thing is that they really do not have any contract bond. Free, you drive. Not free, don't drive. Weekends got lesser chance of getting their taxi but no harm trying. cheers

Hi folks,

Finally manage to get the information.
Need to pay $115 to Permier for Insurance / TAXI Pass.
Attn 2hr taxi course (how to opt taxi).
$48 for manual & $58 for Auto (car make : KIA)

They will return back the amt if you are not in the wrong.

Pls collect me the above infirmation if I'm wrong.

As a very bur guy like me w/o any knowledge of road. Do u guys think I should start off w day or night shift.
Just tot of trying during my leave / Sat /Sun.
