Taxi driving and wearing glasses

Hi TU and all TDs bro,

i have a question here, hoped I don't sound too silly here. I went thru the medical form and saw the part about visual test. I do wear spectacles, degree abt 400 left eye and 500+ right eye.. With thear.. Will LTA. Not approve my application for a TVL??

Hi, I don't see there is any problem with that, as long as you are wearing your glasses while driving. All the best ;)

ya, agree with Rom, as long as you can see with a pair of glasses, it should be fine.

good luck to your venture!

Hi Niteowl,

Ha...Ha... you may want to consider Lasik....my wife done it and she has no problem after that...BUT...ÀÏ»¨ £¨presbyopia) is still a headache as she ages.....no

Anyhow, LTA TDVL is quite tough these days and if you want to pass on first attempt, you really need to spend time knowing the Singapore directory, rules, etc....etc....

I am not trying to discourage anyone but you should try to "STUDY" for it...GOOD LUCK.

Thanks there, was told by friend that the last 2 modules can be quite tough, he took his test about a year ago.. One step at a time .. Maybe I should start going into streedirectory and start learning BFF remembering the road Liao??
