Can not much but at least better than zero income. If 1 hr est $25 x 8 hrs drive . If rent can nego $40 plus diesel about $20 I think not a problem .

yes, i think you should get your own cab and be your own boss (controlling the time).

well, the best option for you is honda FIT or toyota crown that costs around $80+,

lowest rental so that you could easily cover your rental with that timing you want.

good luck!

I guess ( purely by personal assumption) TS may not able to be a hirer himself due to the security fee? anyway, try your luck here, at cabby.com.sg and call up individual taxi companies and ask them for their existing available hirer in their list. all the best to you ^_^

Rom, i thought whether hirer or relief also have to pay the same amount of security deposit?

no problem, we are here to help each other.

well, not sure about the deposit, last time was heard $5000.

maybe policy has changed. you may call them to check.

old Toyota crown also not bad la, CDG offers $80+, diesel.

Honda FIT is fuel but newer car.

What about trying out Premier or Yellow top while scotting a more permanent hirer?

No deposit but higher rental with one-time registration (includes insurance).

Hope this helps.
