UOB Passbook Savings Account & Basic Bank Account


What's the difference between the above eh? i notice on the UOB website that to open UOB passbook savings account, need deposit $500; but only $20 for a basic bank account. I want to call but my england not powderful..lol..anyway, for CDG require to open UoB account; but which one to open eh? Thanks in advance!

Bo the difference, i too ask the same question the 20 dollar is for very poor peopl ein singapore who got issue starting up the account, but bank expect the, to maintain 500 basic on daily basis after which. aka bANK IN sINGAPORE THINK WE LOCAL SI BEH RICH MAH,

lol i see..means if i wanna sign up with cdg, i can simply open the basic bank account with the $20 right? haha i guess tts the way it is here..lan lan.. =/

Yes, basic savings account is the way to go, Bro. Tell UOB that...the lowest they offered is good enough.
