Bro rat, just to share, i've been an OMO for a litle over a month now, so far so good! As for concentrating on night shift, that is a good strategy, provided you know where to go to find pax, especially at the late hours. i notice, at night there are lesser call bookings as compared to daytime (I may be wrong here, do correct me veterans!), unless you're at those not-so-popular locations such as areas immediately outside CBD. Personally, I am doing split shift (0700-1400) & then 1800-0200 or later; this covers most of the peak periods to maximise my earnings. After 9am, I concentrate on call bookings (sometimes adv booking even) since no peak period charge plus seemingly lesser cabs on the road but high number of pax.

My point is, since you going OMO, why not focus on both am & pm shift? Just ensure you have plenty of rest and time for family! :))

Hello and great day,

My part time TDVL course will start next Monday. I feeling excited as I long time never study. Back to school. Hahaha
Anyone studying part time at STA and the course date is 29-09-2014?

Bro Sylvester I did my TDVL full time and passed all 4 modules on exam day - during your course pay attention to the trainer as he may give some indirect tips - study well those that he ask to highlight as most probably will come out - also go through past postings by members here on tips for the TDVL exam - which I totally agree with their views - cheers and all the best
