Taxi fares still cheap what the hell LTA thinking ?

yes I agree . Taxi price must increase . I am paying more for my diesel. The price must go up. I pick a passenger from Aiport to Bedok only cost $10.60. The Indian passenger says ."Sorry Sir I am going near only. Bedok can? ". Stupid Indian passenger .

so irony we have so-call taxi asso...who's suppose to be the voice of taxi drivers...have the powersto ensure the well being of cabbies yet they're slave to rental coy

Bro Fairfare, I think Taxi Operators Association take care of Taxi Operators only. I am not sure if we have Taxi Drivers' Association (If have must not be headed by some CB MP hor because theyonly know how to butter LTA and do nothing else). Sorry, I really don't know if have Taxi Drivers' Association or not. blankstare

By the way, queuing in airport is like tikum tikum. You lucky you pick good passengers who give food tips and go places where there areopportunities to continue (shun shun) picking other passengers are abundant, like town area but if kena like ulu ulu place then also your luck lo. We have to live with it. smile

bro Dec1...doubt we've taxi driver's asso...this is what we hope to have...irrespective which coy you are from...only taxi drivers asso can really speak on behalf of cabbies...still trying to find a leader

what we have presently is Taxi Operators Asso...the name itself glorifies the operators i.e. rental coys not taxi drivers...so they are slaves to the rental coys even have their office in coy office

aiya most of the time, your customer wan to pick up the the nearest location eg : AIRPORT - BEDOK cost taxi fare will be $10.60... haha!

probably that indian customer havent enough cash in his pocket to paying up the fare can to be blame on them... juz dun make a big fuss

If have a Taxi Drivers' Association would be much better as can tok for ask for the taxi fare but dun have ma.. LTA dun have much as they have it reason to increase the fare eg : ERP gantry, road tax & etc to let u all in the car to be lessly then ever

then we taxi driver would get hurt
