This type of cheapo passenager should not be pick up in the first place. From geylang to serangoon north ave 1 the fare is about $11. If he told you that he has only $5, you should tell him straight into his cheapo face that you are driving taxi for a living not charity.
By the way, I nowadays seldom pick up pax from geylang becos the people there too complicated and many scumbags there.
