Was travelling on PIE on Wed at about 9pm from Tampines towards town. Near bedok on lane 1, behind this silvercab which was about 7 car lengths behind car in front of him. There's car on lane 2. Waited for awhile, no respond, then tap short high beam. He move close to white line like want to change lane, don't want to change lane. Wait for awhile more, got slight impatient, then tap 2 slightly longer high beam. He the filter to lane 2.
So i catch up with front car and didn't bother. Then i saw from mirror he filter back to lane 1. Then he sped up high beamed me back! I then filter to lane 2 and slowed down. He then actually also slowed down to prevent me fromgoing behing him! Saw lane 3 no car so i filtered to lane 3 and slowed down quite alot. He no choice went pass me.
Went behind him, tilt up headlight and high beamed him all the way till he exited at Paya Lebar! And all this while he has pax behind!
Nothing against you guys. Just happens to bump into a taxi that's all. Could just be pte car. Not big deal, not complaining, just sharing with u guys here. Alot of dumb motorist just don't understand that lane 1 is for overtaking. You should catch up with vehicle in front or move to lane 2 to let faster vehicle behind overtake.
there were so many times when i travelled along expressway at 95-100km/h...cars still tailgate me...am i driving slow?...no they want to drive more than 100km/h
lane 2 free for the idiot to move...bcos they want to speed more than 100 they want me to move out...that's the reason why so many cars went off the road

Aiyah, lane 2 free, you should move to lane 2 mah. It's not the speed, many don't understand lane 1 is for overtaking. See? You drive taxi also don't know highway code well. Hehe... joking uh! For me, even if i'm at 100km/h or 150km/h, if i see someone coming faster behind, i'll still move to lane 2 to let him pass. Usually on malaysia highway, most cars very 'zhidong', only alot of singaporean mentality think they own the road, travel at speed limit can 'bochup'.

loldid highway code say you can drive beyond speed limits?...its the principle of road safety...are you saying if lane 2 is free i shd move away & encourage him to drive way beyond speed limits?...for all you know i may be doing him a favour by saving his or other ppl lives hor
pity you said if you were driving 100+ or 150+& see another car driving faster you wld move away for him to speed like devil...if an accident occur & someone else got killed not him...i wonder what you wld say to yourself for letting him speed like devil
so you see...we taxi drivers tho at times speed beyond limits...we are also concious of hot-blooded motorist who think he has the right to use the 1st lane for speeding
wrt driving in m'sia...right mentality is to drive according to speed limits...beyong this like 140+ whole family may go next word

Bro Fairfare As taxi drivers we are to drive safelyfor our pax and our image. But we are not in any position to dictate how others drive. Other drivers want to speed, that is their choice for watever reason. We should not get in their way for our own safety and as long as we stay in the correct lane.
For those who speed recklessly, they should think of their family, closed ones, friends, passengers and other road users first.Aiyo! How much time canyou save driving in Singapore? At the longest span from West to East less than 50km only.
Silvercab with a lot of toy figures on the dashboard.
Bro reliefdriver, I hope you are not taking pictures while driving hor. Very dangerous and risky if you do. If I am not mistaken, 12 demerit points, $300 fine and phone confiscated.
Back to your comments, I think this Silver Cab driver either has young children or he probably like to collect toys.
