i know what u mean...i kena so many times...mei2 sit infront i know china girl straightaway

sometimes i kept thinking...so many FTs here...most can pronounce s'pore road names be it bangla, viet. thaietc..why china FTs dun wan to learn our road names...instead they invent their own version & expect cabby to understand

so like u...i said get out hahasmile

This lagi best,At Hong Leong Building one Japanese.
Sir where Japanese cemetery.
Wow picpoppicpop my heart pumping very fast. Where Japanese cemetery Choa Chu Kang no Japanese cemetery.
Wow what to do, luckily one taxi along, than flagged him and asked him, uncle where is Japanese Cemetery, help because i am new, Oh Philip Avenue near Serangoon Garden there.
Japanese said go stop wait and come back to Hong Leong building. Good catch this time. blur blur sometime also lucky. Now I kno Where is Japanese Cemetery.weirdface

everyday learn new location & store in your memory bank haha...if you're young then you've 20G memory...ppl like me not much space for memory left hehe

so free time i suggest u refer & memorise other locations like Jap school or Jap club; viet embassy, british club, holland club etc etcsmile

Kim Keat also interesting. Kim keat Link at Toa Payoh and the other Kim Keats is at Balestier. What is the reason and why those who named the roads in this manner.

I think the 2 Kim Keats were connected before they build the PIE. Same for Havelock Road and also Lor Chuan.

No2 senerio. from redhill MRT station old hokkien mdm with big red plastic bags, Taxi.... see bei law temple but stop me at indian temple. Mdm how where you wanted me to go, River Valley than zee bei Law and turn left to see bei law. mdm what bei law i am new, this kind of Hokkien bei law i don't know. so i go you tell me i drive so reach you tell me. Taxi this is zee bei law, or hill street, see bei law o middle road chinese temple beside indian temple.

Can the Old Birds over here, pls enlighten me all this kind of hokkien name and roads so in future this could help me for further confusion. Thank.

it's their habit, nothing to worry about.
bro, u and these prc mei2 seem 2 be beri 'wu yen' hor..........

tho u r new to this trade, u very often get pax going to places with beri unfamiliar names.
it's not a bad thing tho, this way u learn more and faster. in no time, u will know
more of these places than a lot of the lao chiao liao......
all u need to do is to log all these into ur memory bank.....
