i know what u mean...i kena so many times...mei2 sit infront i know china girl straightaway

sometimes i kept thinking...so many FTs here...most can pronounce s'pore road names be it bangla, viet. thaietc..why china FTs dun wan to learn our road names...instead they invent their own version & expect cabby to understand

It is not a case of PRC dun want to learn our road name but instead they pronounce it in chinese translation. They are not wrong to pronounce our road names in chinese translation. If you dun believe, you can always check from the street directory(with both english and chinese translation version).

So far I have no problem dealing with PRCs (be it educated or not). There is a new problem now with Koreans but they are pardonable becos they are humble unlike the indians. I have several encounters with indian pax, their pronounsation sucks yet want to argue and want to direct you here and there as if they know the roads better than we local.

If you hear clearly, you will discover that indian like to pronoun the word W with V and V with W. Example Volkswagon, they will pronoun it as WolksVagon.
