That's what I wrote in reply to some ST Forum posters too. Taxis comprises less than 3% of vehicle population and some anti-taxi buggers are totally blinded by anger and can only see taxis on the road and so they pick and find fault with taxi driversfurious. How do we convert these kind of drivers or people?confused

Don bother about these ATD ppl.
They comprise less than 3% of the total population taking our cab daily.
If we pay attention to ATDs too much, then we are no different from them, which means we'll neglect the rest of the 97% who deserve our service.
Defensive driving, be safe not sorry.

There is an increase number of accidents I saw on the roads, especially taxis. Remember, not all new and experienced drivers drive the same style. Be safe, and safe, and safe..........not sorry...

in no time TDVL will reach 100K lol...our pie getting smaller & with the influx of new VL... supply of VLdun seem rightto that of demand

many car ownersnow leave their vehicles at home & take premium buses $3 to work instead...save traffic jams headaches, erp, expensive petrol, expensive parking etc etc

so is this good news for taxi trade?...nope as more premium buses will roll on the roads & in turn thosewho dun own cars will just piggy back on these premium buses

our future will only see more short trips? cry

I guess SG (HK alike) always control number of taxi within ratio 3:100 to private cars.
Interesting fact is valid TDVL vs TD also 3%, meaning only 3 out of 100 TDVL holders willing to drive. Hearsay CDG got many empty cabs duno true or not.
